Paeonia 'Mo Jian Rong'

Mo Jian Rong. Hundred proliferate form. Flowers 15 cm x 6cm, dark purple (187-D); petals 6-8-whorled, conpiscuously different in size from outer to inner petals, suffused with black at the base; stamens slightly petaloid; pistils developed, petaloid, yellowish green coloured in the lower flower. Petals multi-whorled, large; stamens small; pistils small in the upper flower. Stalks fairly long, stiff, flowers lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches stout. Leaves long, small-sized; leaflets long ovate or lanceolate, terminal leaflets completely cut or the one side completely cut, acute at the apex. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1983.
